Grassy BMX

Me and my pals were running down this river, down it mind, when Jimmy slipped and cracked his skull open, a perfect square. He was fine but we could see his brain beneath and there were electrical storms flying across it. We took him to a nearby cottage, a broken stone affair, and laid him flat on a slab in the middle of the one room which still had a roof.
He started muttering jibberish. In the night, with the rain outside and no fire, it was hard to listen to his nonsense. Thats why we gagged him, in case you're wondering.
In the morning Jimmy was fine, the hole healed, and the rest of us were just as fresh as daisies. Don't ask me how - I don't know.
Micheal created a bmx from some blades of grass and we had fun playing about, doing jumps and stuff. Then in the evening we went home and this is the song we sang spontaneously, with none of us having discussed it before....

Through a river of thrash metal we waded
God called but we didn't hear him for the sound of music
I tried in vain to start again with another video, another song
There were no takers and I had to fish alone for the next three weeks
That was my punishment for being lonely
For having no friends
For siphoning the end out of an elephant.
